Shelbie Greene

Meet Shelbie, 

Assistant Coach of our U15 Gold team for the 2026–2027 season.

Shelbie brings both knowledge and a genuine love for the game of volleyball. Her passion for the sport began in Grade 5, following in the footsteps of her sister, and continued through her graduating seasons in both school and club volleyball. She now spends her time playing recreationally and coaching.

As a player, Shelbie learned what it takes to be a great athlete—not only in skill, but also in attitude and mental toughness. She experienced many different coaching styles over the years, and once her playing career came to an end, she knew she wanted to share everything she had learned with the next generation of athletes. Shelbie believes that eagerness, coachability, attitude, and commitment are key attributes of great athletes, and her goal is to encourage those qualities in others.

Shelbie has coached grade 9 boys and club U18 girls. She is currently assistant coaching the Grade 9 girls at St. Andre Bessette.
