EMPIRE TRYOUTS
Meet Jamie,
Club President & Head Coach of our U17 girls team for the 2026-2027 season.
Empire Volleyball was created with a simple but powerful goal: to build a program where athletes feel seen, supported and pushed to reach their full potential, on and off the court. After years of coaching in various programs, Jamie saw a need for a club that not only focused on competitive development, but also prioritized athlete confidence, mental toughness and strong team culture.
Her coaching philosophy is shaped by her journey. She started volleyball in grade 9 and was incredibly lucky to have coaches who believed in her potential and dedicated time to shape her into a competitive player. That experience fuels how she coaches today. She has comprehensive technical knowledge and helps players develop not only strong mechanics but court IQ and strategy. She believes in meeting athletes where they are, challenging players to take risks, holding them to a high standard and coaching with both structure and heart. She wants every athlete to feel valued, understood and that they have a place here.
Jamie has coached athletes from U14 through senior high, across both club and school programs. She currently serves as Head Coach of the Senior Girls Volleyball team at St. André Bessette High School.
