Colin Walker

Meet Colin,

Assistant Coach of our U14 girls team for the 2026-2027 season. Colin’s volleyball journey began in junior high, where a dedicated summer volleyball camp in Jasper sparked a lasting passion for the sport. Through hard work and perseverance, he developed into an elite player and experienced the value of discipline, loyalty, kindness, and resilience. Today, he brings those same values to coaching, helping young athletes build confidence, develop their strengths, and grow both on and off the court.

As a coach, Colin is passionate about developing strong technical foundations and helping athletes understand the game. He emphasizes disciplined defensive play, quality high passes, and purposeful three-touch offense, while creating an environment where athletes are encouraged to work hard, embrace challenges, and continue improving.

Colin’s coaching impact has already been demonstrated through strong team results. As a head coach at the junior high level, he guided a senior girls’ team through an impressive playoff run, narrowly missing an upset over the division’s top-ranked team. As an assistant coach with a U12 girls’ club team, he helped develop a young roster into a highly competitive group that earned a Division 2 Provincial Silver Medal.

Above all, Colin believes that great coaching is about more than teaching volleyball. He is committed to building positive relationships with athletes, creating a supportive and organized team environment, and helping players develop the confidence, resilience and character they can carry with them beyond the court.
