Claire Hudson

Meet Claire, Assistant Coach of our U18 Gold team for the 2025-2026 season. 

She fell in love with volleyball in her early years of grade 7 and has been a big part of her life. During her playing years, she faced two major injuries that kept her sidelined. Despite her physical limitations, she stayed connected to the game by practicing within her capacity to keep skills sharp and continued to support her teammates from the bench. Those experiences gave her a new perspective of the game, helped her gain strong court awareness and taught her how to read movement and anticipate plays.

Claire recognized that lost time would require extra work to continue competing. Once cleared, she committed to hard work and earned her place with a division one team. 

Claire has coached with the RHJ Ravens junior high team where she found her own coaching style. Her focus is on providing constructive feedback while fostering a positive team culture where players feel encouraged to learn and challenge themselves.

Her goal is to share her passion, help players learn from mistakes and face challenges head on.
