Christa Aubrey

Meet Christa,

Head Coach of our U12 girls team for the 2026-2027 season.

Christa’s volleyball journey began as a student-athlete, eventually earning a spot on the King’s University varsity volleyball team. During her university career, she also coached at the University of Alberta Volleyball Camps, helping young athletes develop their skills while growing her passion for coaching.

Today, she is entering her fourth season as the Head Coach of the Strathcona Christian Academy Varsity Volleyball Team. Her coaching philosophy is built on the belief that sport is about more than wins and losses, it’s an opportunity to build confidence, resilience, character, and lifelong relationships.

Passionate about athlete development, Christa believes the U12 years are some of the most important in a player’s volleyball journey. She focuses on creating a positive environment where athletes develop strong technical fundamentals, gain confidence in their abilities, and feel a true sense of belonging while having fun every step of the way.

Known for her positive energy, commitment to player development, and love for the game, Christa is excited to help the next generation of athletes grow both on and off the court with Empire Volleyball.
